Hope you are having a great weekend.
I probably mentioned before that I have a few hobbies, and all involve working with my hands. One of those is knitting. I learned to knit and crochet before I knew how to read or write... and still loving doing it. Over the years I made hundreds of garments, and at one point, I was making prototypes for the local fashion designer that was doing exclusively hand knitted garments.
These days I slowed down, but still find myself reaching for the yarn and knitting needles. My latest project was involving some kind of silky fringed ribbon for knitting in turquoise green, which I mixed with white. It ended up really cute, but in the end I placed it in Good Will bag as it was shedding so badly, that I was covered in fine silky hairs alongside with anyone (or anything) that I've got in touch with... It was shedding while I was making it, but I thought that would be good after washing... even though there are lots of hairs that fell off, it was still happening, and I will not have it. Never mind that I looked like a Care Bear...
I wore it once, and that will do for me. While I was knitting, I decided to do a matching manicure using the turquoise and white, just like a sweater I was knitting.
I started with Sally Hansen - Hard to get (white creme).
Images used are on Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS C-15 stamping plate. I was glad to use it again.
For stamping, I used Dance Legend - Mint and Beauty Big Bang - 018 (teal).
Loved the results here, even though for the photos my hands were covered in fine hairs...
I hope you will have an amazing day.
Cheers!
