That is why today, I am showing you manicure including kid stuff.
Because I had boys only, I did made paper plane or two, and paper boat and few other things, and this plate from Creative Shop 10, covered some of those.
You are right, I do have a thing for Creative Shop stamping plates. All of the images they provide are fun and different, and I am usually impatient to use them. It become a habit to use more than one image at the time, but can you blame me? I have many lace images, but this image (third in the first row) will be used really soon! Honestly, I love every image on this plate, and even though I might have couple of images that are similar, I love every plate I have.
As a base, I used really beautiful Arcane Lacquer - Strutter.
Above shown is two coats, and no top coat.
This is such an vampy color, I will have to revisit it really soon. This is my only Arcane Lacquer, and I am pretty happy with the formula and application.
For stamping, I used Mundo de Unas - White. I wanted to keep this one really simple. I will assure you that paper airplanes I made were simple too. I actually made one plane and one boat to have as a prop while taking a photos, and I did not like the photos with the boat, so they were out. There is something so satisfying in folding on the paper and observe the shapes that would appear - so many folds, so many outcomes. I always enjoyed this with my boys, and of course to see who will make the best flying plane! That was the best part - to watch them sail and do somersaults in the air before the big bang!
After stamping, I applied Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat. I did warn you that I am in the matte everything faze, but I may like this one more matte than shiny!
Simplicity of this manicure, especially with matte top coat appealed to me on so many levels.
I hope that you will have that simple, paper plane making kind of week.
As always, thank you for visit.
Cheers!
