This week, this challenge called for a junk food. I never thought I will have burger and fries on my nails in a million years, but that is exactly what happened...
I am really not good with food or drinks on my nails - love to eat it, but not to wear it. I did this solely for this prompt. I could do many things, but just for today I went the way of the golden arches. I am not fond of McDonald's, and I did not set my foot in one of them in a very long time.
Reason I pick McDonald's is that I had their logo on one of my plates, and I kind of liked a color scheme.
Loving the bright colors.
For this manicure I used three different China Glaze polishes: Red Satin (crème), Ruby Pumps (glitter) and Daisy know my name? (yellow).
Logo image is on Y005 stamping plate.
First I stamped it with the Hit the Bottle - Hello Buttercup, but it was too shimmery. I stamped over with Esmaltes da Kelly - Kaa, and that color combo matched the yellow accent nail.
Of course I did not have the image for this, and I had to resort to the freehand for this. Then I realized that I could easily do the big M freehand too...
For painting, I used Winstonia - Berry Wine brush set and acrylic paint.
All topped with Seche Vite top coat.
If you are anything like me, you would love your burger homemade, on the grill, with some sautéed onions, bacon and mushrooms, and some cheese - slice you cut, not the plastic kind...
Just made myself hungry. I wish you all a great day.
Cheers!
