I have super pretty and super simple manicure for today. Simple may be in my stars in next little while, as heat is not really great for the nail art.
It is really lucky that I do have some saved manicures that will take me over this heat bump. Last night, temperature inside of my polish room was 30*C! I am not sure that is all good for the nail polish, but again, it is not the first time that they are exposed to this heat.
I finally got my hands on the polish I am drooling over for last few years. It was my luck that this polish would be sold out when ever I would be looking to purchase it.
This is Color Club Nail Lacquer - Don't Kale My Vibe.
As soon as I painted my nails with this gorgeousness, I could not stop thinking of peacock feather, and I decided to answer the siren call of the polish, and stamped what I thought was the perfect add on to this polish.
I forgot to write down the stamping plate I used for this... but stamping polishes I used were Maniology - Straight-Up Black, and Hit the Bottle - Magna Opus (under the black stamping for the feather).
It is more visible under some angles, but I thought it would provide the nice highlight for the feather design. I did a zig zag design on middle and index finger, as I thought it has such a strong visual effect, that is in contrast to the softness and lightness of the feather. I love contrasts of any kind, as I think that they compliment each other and give more balance and interest.
I really loved seeing this on my nails, and lately green is one of colors I enjoy to wear. I kind of go in the loop with my favorite colors, and it seems like I would pick the same color over and over again, and then it would change to a different color... until I do the full circle.
Now, if you are in the area of the heat wave, please stay cool, drink lots of water, and wear sunscreen if you are outdoors.
Cheers!
