Journey Into Night is described as dusk blue to midnight blue thermal polish with blood red microshreds. Polish is inspired by Ford from Westworld.
All you need is 2-3 coats for full opacity. Polish itself, dries out into a matte finish, but I loved it with glossy finish, and I topped it with Elemental Ward - Doesn't Look Like Anything. I just feel that top coat brings out those gorgeous contrasting microshreds.
Now is perfect weather for a thermal polishes, and this one is perfect. Considering that last two days we did have some snow flakes in the morning... yeah I know... this is perfect for this transitional weather if you like to classify polishes according to the seasons.
I had to do little bit of the nail art over, and when I swatched this polish first time, I did not realised that this is thermal, so I used black undies... Oooopsie. I did nail art on the top, so I kept the photos, and that is the only reason why it looks like Journey Into Night was in perpetual cold state...
I loved that copper in the polish enough, that I picked stamping polish of the same color for stamping.
Image is on Finger Angel - A013 stamping plate, stamped with DRK Nails - Copper.
After stamping, I applied Elemental Ward - Doesn't Look Like Anything. As you can tell, this top coat is nail art friendly, and just for that reason is my favourite top coat at the moment.
Here is the look.
Back to work time...
Cheers!
