December also means countdown to Christmas - I was lucky enough to receive another Advent calendar from Madam Glam, and I will reveal/swatch the products every day.
Day 1 brought the Madam Glam - Base Coat. I will not make a special swatch for the base coat, as this is used with every gel manicure.
Because I did not do the swatch, I used opportunity to use some other nail polishes here, and this is definitively predominantly A England manicure. I used 4 different shades of A England polishes for this manicure, and to start with list of participating shades: On thumb + index I am wearing Mrs. de Winter, on ring finger is Briarwood, and on pinky is Maxim. Last two polishes look so similar on the photo, even though they are different in person. Briarwood has red undertones, while Maxim has purple.
For my middle finger, I used Color Club Nail Lacquer - Making Bank, which I topped with E.L.F. Cosmetics - Gold Star.
I rarely go for the skittle, but I thought that skittle is great way to wear some of the polishes that would never have the turn otherwise. I love A England polishes, as they have amazing formula, usually are opaque in one coat, and they can be used for stamping in the pinch, and that is what I did here. If you wondered where is the fourth shade - I stamped with it over my middle finger.
For stamping I used A England - Natasha's Dance War & Peace, and as you can clearly see, it stamped amazingly well. I purchased all of the polishes used, and have zero gain in promoting them, but when I have a great product, I love to give it a credit.
Images are on Uber Chic stamping plates - Jingle All The Way + Happy Christmas. Have to admit that I purchased few Uber Chic plates during the Black Friday sale, and in the end I did bought more products that I planned, but it is what it is.
I also used black and gold stamping polish for stamping on index and ring finger.
It is nice to think about holiday season and warmth of the Christmas. I am also looking forward to some time off last week of December.
Happy December to all of you.
Cheers!
