Second polish I received as a gift is this one, named very aptly - Welchers Jam.
On my swatch, I am wearing two coats and no top coat. On certain lighting condition Welchers Jam will show more blue, and under some other will look almost lavender.
This is really unique color, and reminded me of the piece of Japanese silk my father got from client, which ended out as outfit for my prom. It was beautiful piece of silk, with fine cherry blossoming branches woven in, all done in this beautiful single color. I wore to my prom suit that was made by yours truly, with the crucial help from my dad. My dad was a tailor, and it was so nice to have professional help when I would mess it up... I did lots of sowing, and that would happen from time...
So nice of Dave from Parrot Polish to evoke this pleasant memory of my late dad.
I adore this color, and this was welcome addition to my polish collection.
Considering that this polish reminded me of Japanese silk, I decided to go with Japanese theme...
What is more Japanese, than a silk fans held in the hand of beautiful women...
Image I used is on CF-22 stamping plate, and it consist of three fans, all different sizes. I split the image, and randomly stamped fans in different colors, directions and sizes.
For stamping, I used Hit the bottle - Smurf Blood (blue) and Let's go to the Peach (orange), Moyra - Pink 01 and Light Green 15 and Konad - Yellow.
Clear jelly stamper helped with a placement of those fans.
I topped everything with Love, Angeline - Topped with love top coat.
This manicure perfectly matched my scrub top I wore earlier this week...
Thank you for visiting, and I hope to see you tomorrow.
