If you are following me for a while, you will know that I am not much about Halloween. Never cared much about it, and to be honest, I do not get morbid obsession with it that I am seeing here in North America.
I usually do few themed designs, but there is no way I can do a whole month worth of blood, guts and gore... I usually go for the cute.
Here I did a Jack-O'-Lantern design, and I thought it came out pretty cute, rather than scary.
All was done freehand with nail polishes.
I started with Dimension Nails - Swallowtail Butterfly. This is such a great yellow, I love wearing it, for me it is like a ray of sunshine.
It may seem to be weird to use yellow for the pumpkin, but I guess it could be a squash too.
I had some small pumpkins at home, purchased for baking I did not do on the weekend, and if you check the last photo, you can see how well my handy work is actually matching my orange pumpkin!
I thought this is really cute, but I may be a partial to this opinion...
Couple of weeks ago I received some of the new custom rings for my photos, and I got four pumpkin rings. One of them you seen day before yesterday with my Pink Pumpkin, and today I am showcasing another one, that matched my nails pretty good!
I am not sure where I am going with my ring collection, but I have to tell that I created another passion, and there is no one to stop me with my new obsession. I just love when I can match the ring to the manicure in some way.
With this said, I hope that this cute carved pumpkin did not scare you, but put a smile on your face.
Cheers!
