Yarn is grey, caramel and white mix, and every time I looked at the spool, it made me think of jasper stone. Isn't it funny how we see the same thing differently?!
To create the mixed look, I did a "smoosh" on my mat. I randomly applied drops of :
Sally Hansen - White on (white), Dimension Nails - Gazelle (shimmery caramel/gold) and Black Dahlia Lacquer - Winter Dusk (grey with some red shimmers) and using a stamper with a bigger head, I lightly pushed and little twisted while lifting the stamper. That way I can pick which one I like better, or sometimes both decals. You let them to dry, peal them and apply on the nail. Usually, I apply them on semi-cured nail polish or I use Orly - Bonder to apply the decals on my nails. I actually loved how the decals came out, and was totally tempted to wear them as is.
Knitted image is on Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS-320 stamping plate from the Winter box.
First I stamped with grey stamping polish, but it was not really popping out, so I just stamped over with Konad - Special White stamping polish. This was more like it.
All was topped with matte top coat.
I actually wore the sweater when I was doing my nails, and you can see it in on two photos: on first one is in background, and on the last, you can see it clearly.
This manicure made me so happy, and I kept it for couple of days.
My appointment with surgeon yesterday went well, and my incision is healing nicely, thanks heaven for that.
Another mild, spring like day here, to remind me how much I am longing for the spring...
Have a great day everyone.
Cheers!
