Peanut and chocolate was never my favorite, but replace that nut with hazelnut or almond, and I am all over it.
Isn't that just funny. When I was growing up, we did not really have chocolates with peanuts, so that may be the reason why I am not the biggest fan, even though I will give it a try from time to time, just because my boys love it.
This just proves that inspiration is all around us, we just need to open the eyes to it.
Have to admit that orange color is not really dominant in my feed, so this was nice opportunity to use it.
All was done freehand with nail polish, and I kind of forgot to add tree trunk, and I realized that after I took whole bunch of photos...
I added the trunk, but I liked only one photo, so you will totally be able to see it. It is the last photo in the line up here.
Some manicures are really photogenic, and photos are fantastic, regardless if I liked the manicure or not.
This one was not one of them. All photos showed my skin really weirdly looking, and no matter what I did I could not fix it. I have to let you know, this was much better looking in person than it ever looked on any of my photos...
As a grey base, I used China Glaze - Pelican Gray, and white is also by China Glaze - White on White.
I used two orange polishes for the trees: Glisten & Glow - Pumpkin Carving & Pale Ale, and Hit the Bottle - Apricot Sour. It was really hard to blend them on such a small surface, but I gave it a try. Third orange used for the shadow is Pumpkin Carving & Pale Ale with little bit of grey mixed in. My orange polish choices were exact, but photographed really grey looking.
All was finished with the matte top coat.
Back to work, so I wish you all a good health (something so much missing in my life at the time) and short week...
Cheers!
