Chan you imagine how messy it was to write with ink, not just a fountain pen, but an ink and a quill... Some of us are not very graceful, and I can totally see myself tipping over the ink well, or making the inky mess just like the one on my nails. I don't even to mention the smudges on the paper - I am not the most patient person alive... besides, who has the time to wait for ink to dry.
Splatter was the prompt for the What's Up Nails Challenge, and making the splatter nails is so much fun, but they are so messy. Even messier when you have a sensitivity to latex and protection is next to none...
So... I decided to cheat and stamp my little inky, splattery mess...
As a base, I used absolutely gorgeous Masura - Moon Gate. Moon Gate is gorgeous gold magnetic polish that wears like a nude - easy to wear and so elegant.
Images I used are on MoYou London stamping plates - Scholar - 02 for inkwell, and Artist - 23 for the splatters.
For stamping the splatters I used Konad - Black, and China Glaze - First Mate. I love when regular polish stamp so well, and this particular I use for the stamping only lately.
Loved this simple look, and what I love even more is the fact that weekend is so close! Long weekend to the booth! I can't wait!
It is not that I have anything special planned, probably will not the leave the house, but that is the point - to be home a little bit more...
Whishing you all a wonderful day.
Cheers!
