I am aware that not every one is the fan of the mustard yellow, but I actually love it! Personally, I would name this one Saffron - it is spot on color, and first association when I put it on my nails. Of course that name is food related. LOL!
Even though Black Lung was easy to build up to a full opacity, that is not the case here. Even though it is really pigmented, this one is true jelly.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat. Just look how glossy this one is.
This particular jelly would be perfect for the pond manicure. I did only one layer of the pond. LOL.
Because saffron was my first association, I just played on the theme, and went with the India inspired look.
Images I picked are on Nicole Diary-051 stamping plate.
First I stamped full nail image using the Hit the Bottle - Snowed in, then I applied one more coat of this jelly. Here is the look at this stage.
On middle and ring finger I added another image, that I related to the India...
Of course, I topped it first with the Smooth Finish - fast dry top coat by MDJ Creations and it is the first photo below.
This color called for the matte top coat, and I obliged... I am totally in love with the matte version.
Matte version is giving that sari feel even more than the glossy one, and that was exactly what I was going for. Which version do you like better?
Hope your weekend is amazing.
Cheers!
