Other day I was checking polishes at Winners, and lo and behold, I came across some NCLA polishes, and I had to try them. I purchased couple of them for a fraction of the price - I love savings...
First one I went for is this gorgeous shimmery red named Satin sheets and velvet ropes (I just wonder what inspired this particular name...). This is almost one coater, with wonderful coverage.
White I used here is OPI - Put a coat on, and I know that this is not your regular white polish. This is rather a base coat to be used under bright colors, but I just have too many polishes open, and I just wanted to get rid of ...
I stamped with MdU - Black, and image is from UR Beautiful -05 stamping plate.
I had some troubles with image pick up, and on my middle finger I first stamped with black, but there were some missing spots...
Over that I stamped with Hit the Bottle - Poison Apple, and red was exact match for Satin sheets and velvet ropes, but I still did not like it, so I added another stamping layer with MdU - White.
Talking about illusion...
On my other hand, same happened with the middle finger, only I switched image, so my wavy image was triple stamped there, and swirly image was stamped with black only. It must of been something with my middle fingers, and not fault of me - the operator...
