so far, two days in a row we are awaken to some snow, that thankfully, mostly melts during the day. Even so, it is treacherous walk to work in the morning, as nothing is cleaned yet, and you have no idea what is hiding underneath that fresh powder...
As I said, one can dream, and I have appropriate manicure to share.
I started with untried China Glaze - December to Remember.
December to Remember has a foil like finish, and actually color is not as bad, but there are also some pink to gold color shifting micro flakies that look much better in the bottle, then on the nail. I found that those just made whole polish little bit bumpy. To top it off, formula is pretty thin, so it took three coats for barely achieving opacity, and only saving grace is that this polish dries really quickly.
I believe that I purchased this at the time when I was building my collection, and was not really very selective over what I purchase. These days, I would not even look at this polish, and needless to say, this polish left the house, thanks goodness.
Image is on Creative Shop 37 stamping plate I shown you on Monday, but here it is again.
For stamping I used Hit the Bottle - Moonshine.
First, I applied Moyra - SP Aqua Top Coat. I purchased two bottles of this top coat by accident, and because I hate to waste I had to try to use it with stamping. I am super hyped that this top coat does not smear stamping, and that is huge bonus in my books.
After that, I added a Wet'n'Wild - Matte Top Coat, which brought those flakies in the first plan. You can actually see both - pink in the centre of the nail, and gold on the edges. Moyra top coat takes slightly longer to dry than I am used to, and I guess I applied the matte top coat too soon, and on few spots there is some clouding. I was actually surprised to see it, as I could not see it in normal lighting conditions. Something to pay attention at.
This is it from me for today.
Cheers!
