So this is actually little trip down the memory lane for me...
There was no bright green in my feed lately, and I was eyeing, or should I say - I spy(ed) with my little eye this gorgeous emerald green crème from Color Club Lacquer - Wild Cactus in my untried polish pile... It was a high time to get over my green cravings, so I picked it up, and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
Wild Cactus is super creamy, and super opaque polish that was pretty much opaque in one smooth coat, but I added two, just because. Just give me intense, saturated, jewel like colors and I am happy.
Even though I could not wait to wear this color, it was too dark for what I had in mind, so I paired it with Jior Couture - Homeworld, one of the polishes I purchased years ago... Homeworld is white crelly with emerald green shimmer, that is visible in the bottle, but sadly, invisible on the nail.
Regardless, it is great base for the nail art, and reason for using it.
This was an opportunity to finally try another Maniology stamping plate that I purchased while ago - Maniology x Nail Stamping Sisterhood M004.
Two images captured my attention from the get go - that gorgeous eye image with the eyelashes that have a city scape and trees and birds hidden within, and the image of the feather that is disintegrating into the birds... Had to use both of them, as in my head they are connected.
Stamping polishes used are: Born Pretty - Black, and Hit the Bottle - Snowed in + Lucky Spark.
I loved this until I decided to add a little bit nude below the eye... and smudged the lashes...
I posting this despite imperfections. They weren't visible in person, but drove me insane when I noticed them on the photos... What to tell you - life is not perfect but we are living it every day.
It is better if I finish before I spill more gems like my previous sentence. LOL!
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
