I started with super pretty Never Mind Apothecary - Hellequin. Black jelly base is full of red, purple and green glitters, and it is so pretty in person. I know that I covered most of it with stamping, but I wanted a darker background for the pretty humming bird and mass of tropical flowers... OK, I am aware that those flowers can be any kind really, but I was going for the tropical look here, and in my head, they are little colorful tropical flowers, the kind humming bird would love to feed on.
This was time consuming as every flower is stamped in different color, and I had both hands to do for work, but trust me, it was totally worth it. There is something calming in repetitive movements, and I use those moments to calm my thoughts and just enjoy the process.
When I was done, I just could not stop looking at them, and I love that I used stamping polishes with the different finishes, which gave this look even more dimension.
All images used are on Uber Chic - UC 10-02 stamping plate. All I needed to add was a little dot of color in the center of the flowers, and even for that I used different colors to make it even more interesting.
I got so many compliments on this manicure, which made me so happy with every color and stamping choice here.
It is a Canada Day, and long weekend. I am so looking forward to getting more rest.
To all of my fellow Canadians, Happy Canada Day!
Cheers!
