In last few months, I did post a tea and coffee themed manicures and today I will post the one that involves hot chocolate. That will only leave us with the apple cider, which I actually have already prepared, and expect to post in a next few days...
I am chocoholic - I love chocolate in every shape in form. Chocolate was always my weakness, and there is no day that little bit of chocolate does not pass my lips...
I may not care much about Halloween, but some polish makers made some collections that were so beautiful, that they were so hard to pass. One of those polishes from Halloween Collection of 2018. is by Different Dimension - If You've Got It, Haunt It!
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats + top coat. Isn't this one a stunner!
I purchased most of the collection, but to this day I am still kicking myself for not picking another crelly, even though I did put it in my basket on a few occasions, for whichever reason I would take it out... now I want it, but I can't have it! My own fault!
Images I used for this manicure are on Dixie Plates - Autumn 03.
For stamping, I used several stamping polishes, such as: Hit the Bottle - Snowed in; Esmaltes da Kelly - Topolino; Girly Bits Cosmetics - Saffron; Colour Alike - Cherry Tomato and DRK - Metallic Brown.
So many polishes used, and I know that it does not look like it on the first glance.
As a for my pretty sparkly ring, I got it in a Charmed Aroma candle, one of several I treated myself with in a past few months. Those are scented candles that contain Sterling Silver jewellery, and so far, I got me some really pretty pieces of jewellery. Jewellery is in a little plastic bag, wrapped in aluminum foil, and as you burn your soy candle, little parcel would be revealed, and you can pick it up, and unwrap a surprise. All you can pick is your ring size. Candles come with different styles and can contain ring, necklace, bracelets, earrings or set - necklace + ring. I got me couple of sets and at least half a dozen ring ones. I did not quite burned all of the candles yet, but I surely like the surprise! They also have a bath bombs with the same idea, so you should check them out. This is not a paid advertisement, as I purchased the candles on my own, and am very happy with them. They would also make a perfect gift for someone, so good to have the information stored for when you need some ideas.
Back to my manicure - I loved the glossy finish, but had to try to see if I would like it matte. It is infinitely easier to photograph as there is no glare from the light, but I love the vibrancy of the glossy finish. Matte also made that tree on my index finger better visible.
This is all from me for today, and I am wishing you a relaxing kind of day.
Cheers!
