Usually, for this type of prompt I would do Hitchcock's "Birds", but I have done this past two years, so I decided on something different.
I think that I attempted to watch this one, but I am not sure that I finished it... that was too much darkness for me, and I just left the room.
Anyhow, I figured the way to do a horror movie themed manicure without actually showing a thing... and this is what I came with.
For those that did not, movie I was trying to do was "Blair Witch Project". All of you that guessed right, deserve a chocolate bar!
I went with almost monochromatic theme, except for a sign...
Even though this is not blood and gore per say, this is freaking me out. I could not wear it longer than it took to take those photos.
Gradient done using following China Glaze polishes: Out like a light (darkest gray, also on my ring finger), Pelican Gray (medium gray) and Snow Way! (almost white shimmery polish with red flash- I also sponged it at random over gradient for fog like effect).
Image of the trees is on Bundle Monster - BM-S306 stamping plate, and for stamping I used Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night.
Sign on my ring finger was freehand with red over the white so it would stand out.
I have no idea how people can enjoy Halloween and how they try to make themselves looking mutilated, dig their yards for a morbid and gruesome displays... You might call me judgemental, but we are all different. I guess- to each its own.
I have seen in my life things I wish I did not. I felt the fears I wish I could forget. I just can't bring myself to celebrate it.
On that note, I wish you pleasant day full of inner sunshine.
Cheers!
