I was in a mood for a water marble, and while marble did well, I ruined it on few spots... I used Pacifica - Paradise City (turquoise), Quo - Stormy night (navy blue) and Pixie Lime (lime green).
Love those colors together here.
Then I picked my brushes, and started painting using the same colors. I did not want to go "against the grain" of the water marble, so I just picked one of the lime green lines, and added little bit more, and then I painted some flowers. To be honest, I am not sure if I was actually going for the grape hyacinth, or it was more like a bluebells...
My garden was full of beautiful purple flowers and I had to use them here. Can you really blame me, and I had few in a little vase on my desk, so I can enjoy their sweet scent.
End result is some kind of trippy floral.
Not my greatest idea of going tone on tone on tone, but it is what it is.
It was almost like a hidden surprise to see the little flowers here.
Colors here are totally tugging at my heart strings, so even that is enough for me to call this a sucess... LOL! I had to toot at my own horn here!
It is a special day for me, so I am looking forward seeing all of my children at home with me.
Have an amazing day everyone!
Cheers!
