I received the whole collection as the prize for naming one of the polishes, whose review you will see tomorrow.
CRIME SCENE named by @brysasuccubellanails
My camera is usually intimidated by red, but this time I can say that color is very much true to the reality.
I wanted to do a color block/negative space manicure, so I painted 3/4 of my nail using the Crime Scene. I had some gold foil out, so I cut up the ribbon, and applied it at the top of the red just before polish dried... As you can clearly see, it did dry out on the edges, and foil did not take, but intention was there.
Over that, I stamped the image from Uber Chic - UC 2-01 stamping plate, using black stamping polish. I also added some gold toned studs, and topped it all with glossy top coat.
I loved this, even though it reminded me of belated lunar new year manicure. It must be the red and gold color combo.
It is the year of the tiger, so it is still too early to say how will this year treat us.
What do you think about this red? Isn't it just so juicy!
Once again, great self leveling formula, and on the swatches above, you can see Violetta glossy, matte and topped with Frost. I loving it in every of those ways, and I thought that I found the perfect image to go with this color.
Violetta is Violet in some languages, and pansy is part of the botanical family of violets. This was roundabout way of introducing the add on to this gorgeousness.
Image I used is on Esmaltes da Kelly - KN 5 stamping plate that I have for years, yet used for the first time here. I had fun coloring the image. I mixed little bit of white with Violetta, to color the petals in some sort of the gradient mother nature provided so flawlessly, and other color I used for the petals is also from this collection, and I will show you this polish tomorrow.
To say that I loved the way this came about would be a huge understatement.
Floral images always had my heart, and the way this came about here totally stole my breath away.
I am not sure if I will be able to top this manicure with the two that are still left to be seen, but I will surely try.
I hope that you are liking the swatches so far. Enjoy your day.
Cheers!
