For me, October is family - several members of my family is born in October, mostly in first half of it, starting with my youngest son, that is turning sweet 16 today. Happy Birthday my love, and let every day is bright and kind like you are.
There are many more wishes I wish upon him, but I will keep it short here.
To continue with the family meaning of October for me, in Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving, and it falls on next weekend. There is nothing quite like a family gathered around the full table.
Aside from the celebrations, October is also bringing a big heartbreak for my family... we lost a member at the end of last October, and I am still bracing for the impact of the first anniversary...
Because it is a happy day today, I have a happy, bright floral number that I will dedicate to my son, because he is little ray of sunshine, and yellow always makes me happy and put the smile on my face.
Base I used here is actually a thermal soak off gel polish from Madam Glam - Inside Out.
I was playful when I did this manicure, and I wanted to use some older plates that are easily forgotten with the arrival of the new ones.
I stamped lined image from Maniology (former Bundle Monster) BM-209 stamping plate, and then I added single flower from random B76 stamping plate. Under that flower is pretty big hexagonal loose glitter, and I stamped over it. I had to add little bit of sparkle with the glitter.
Stamping polishes I used were: Esmaltes da Kelly - Dolly, La Femme - Vermelho (red) and Amarelo (yellow).
I loved this sunny, easy to wear manicure, and I hope you will like it too.
Cheers!
