It is nice to get out of town, and have a little time away to recharge your batteries, and nothing will do just like a change of scenery. Sometimes we just need to remove ourselves from everyday grind and day to day dealings so we can attack them with the fresh perspective once we are done.
Travels often bring a different kind of stress in our live - roads and traffic if we are driving, or missed, cancelled or delayed flights or bus lines or connections... Then there is financial part of it - which may determine how long you will stay, or how much extra fun there will be... And then accommodations - everyone has the preference that may be triggered by many factors, so some are content in a tent, while others need more of the pampering... and there may be other things involved - especially if you have young children or pets.
So much planning and so much expectations, and in the end, we may get home more drained than before we left, so now we need the vacation after the vacations.
When I seen this cute image of the baby hedgehog lounging in the hammock, I just could not resist it. he looks so happy and relaxed.
Images are on Creative Shop 114 stamping plate, and reminded me that holidays should be happy and relaxing, and first what came to my mind is that I would love to get some rest at the Hedgehog Inn...
Base is my favorite ever nude ever by OPI - My Vampire is Buff. I added layer of Parrot Polish - Spectrum Flakes on my pinky, as I thought that went so well with the forest theme here.
That cute image of the door in the tree trunk was just too cute to pass on, so my second thought was of enchanted woodland retreat.
Being in the cool forest, in the deep shade of the tall trees sounds great. It would sound even better if there was no forest fires - they tend to move fast when everything is so parched.
I decided to stay at home at the moment, but can always dream of traveling to some exotic destination.
Cheers!
