Fast forward a few months later, and I used it again, but this time I liked the pairing.
This is Color Club - Meteor-right.
First time around I used light pink holographic stamping polish that got lost in the shimmer, so I decided against posting it.
This time, I went for the bold - and liked it!
Recently, I did purchase of yellow stamping polish from Born Pretty Store, but what I received was not yellow... I am not sure if their description and photos were deceptive, did I choose wrong, or I just received wrong item...
Anyhow, I decided to keep it, even though I find this color equally challenging for pairing, as I did with Meteor-right. Polish I received from Born Pretty Store is this light orange, and while it stamps nicely on light colors, dark may present some challenge. I used it as an accent color, and I did use it for a tiny bit of stamping, but I also used another orange stamping polish from Mundo de Unas - 13 Orange.
All images are from DRK Seasons stamping plate I picked up during a brief store opening last time. I do get an e-mails that would notify me of the special deals...
As you can see, DRK Seasons plate is roughly divided into four sections, that kind of run into each other, just like a real seasons. I used images from the Summer section of the plate.
in addition to above mentioned orange stamping polishes, I also used Kaleidoscope St.-81 Bisque for the sand, and St.-01 Black for scuba gear. I did try something with double stamping flippers, but let's just pretend that never happened...
Even though those two colors may not be everybody's first choice for a beach themed manicure, I kind of liked it. Maybe just because it is different...
It is so hot in my house, I am literary melting... stamping can be quite an challenge on this heat, and I am glad I always have some manicures done ahead of the time.
This is it from me, going to stand in the freezer for few minutes.
Be safe, stay safe, keep cool and hydrated...
Cheers!
