She is always supportive and ready to lend a helping hand, and miles that separate us mean nothing to us. Sometimes barriers are only in your head...
There was 54 of us that collaborated to make a special birthday surprise, and most of us did a recreation of her work.
I love everything that Sharon makes, and you can check her IG@sharnailstar, and give her some love there. She has some super special ways of using some stamping images, that more often than not, I stop and think - how on earth she done this! There is not much I can not replicate and figure out on the spot, but her creations can make me stop and make notice...
This manicure was posted on Jan. 25/18, and I think that it is really special that on her birthday, I am re-creating a manicure using my favourite color. LOL! Gift that just keeps on giving. ;)
I started with stunning purple base by Painted Polish by Lexi - Thirty & Flirty from her birthday trio.
I used this one previously for stamping, and we know that double duty polishes are my favourite of all.
I wished that I 'faked' or stamped foil effect just like Sharon, but I kind of like to play with foil, and I used gold holographic foil that kind of stole the show. This foil effect was not dimmed much even after I added matte top coat!
Naturally, I did not have exact the same stamping plates as used in original, so I improvised with ones I have. I used Uber Chic - Far East 02 and hehe 100.
I stamped with Hit the Bottle - As Black As Night.
Photos are glossy and matte, and I even had Japanese fan as a prop, no matter how huge it looked in my hand...
Once again, happy birthday my dear friend.
Cheers!
