For this festive occasion, I had prepared special, sparkly edition of Canada Day nail art.
I will start this post with that collage, so you can see right away all of the talented ladies that put a hand forward for this collab.
This actually looked much better in my head, but it is what it is - I always have a next year to do something better! Isn't that a great attitude!
Pretty red glitter is Dive I! - polish I purchased while ago when DRK was having close out sale... and this is the first time for me to wear it. Apparently, I am hoarding red glittery polishes, as I do own at least another 3 of them...
Dive I! is slightly textured glitter polish, and to even it out I topped it with a layer of the top coat before stamping. I applied two coats of this pretty red glitter, over the Ciate - Boudoir.
On my ring finger I applied one coat of Pure Ice - Beware over white OPI - Put a coat on!
All images used for this manicure are from Clear Jelly Stamper stamping plates CjS LC-08 and CjS LC-09.
For this manicure I wanted to use as many of images as I could, and this is what I came up with.
I imagined it as a Canada flag, over imposed over the silhouettes of different Canadian landmarks. I also wanted a contrasts, and I stamped black over the red, and grey over the white...
There was lots of multi stamping involved, and clear jelly stamper was absolute champion.
Just on my ring finger, there are four layers of stamping!
For stamping, I used following stamping polishes: Mundo de Unas - White, Born Pretty - Red and Black, Maybelline - Bold Gold and Esmaltes da Kelly - Tapalina.
With long weekend on both sides of the border, be safe, drive safe, and keep hydrated, as we are going through the heat wave here.
Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend.
Cheers!
