Magical combination called for magical topic, and I think I delivered with this one... Cinderella and her prince riding into their happily ever after.
Let me start from beginning... I mentioned that I am on self imposed no-buy, as I was getting out of control, but I came across few magnetic polishes in a local Dollar store... long story short, my son decided to purchase them for me, so I would not break my no-buy... ;D
I know that is not how this works, but I shown some kind of restrain, and that is huge improvement for me.
For this manicure I used one of those polishes my son purchased - Sally Hansen - Ionic Indigo. I am so happy with this one, even though I have another two blue ones... no comment.
Magnetic effect (cat eye) is really strong with all of the Sally Hansen magnetic polishes I own.
First I applied one coat of magnetic polish, and then used magnet on the second coat. I did not use the wavy magnet that is on the cap. For this manicure I used the magnetic pen I purchased last summer, but never get around using. Thing is I was unsure how to use it. What I did is I swiped the pen twice over the nail, once on each side, and I quite liked the effect.
I wanted to use image from HK-05 plate forever - as a matter of fact, I purchased this plate just for this image. I did not seen horse drawn carriage on any other plate, and I had to have it.
First, I stamped whole image over two nails using Mundo de Unas - White, and then using Madam Glam - Holo Mirror, I stamped once more over the carriage. To do double stamping, you need to have Clear Jelly Stamper. I did couple of manicure while back without it, and I never quite knew what will I end up with, until I removed stamper... this is so much easier.
Using white acrylic paint, I painted frozen road. We do not want to have horses dangling from above...
At the bottom of my nail I applied some loose holographic glitter to help create magical effect - like a fairy dust that fairy godmother sprinkled on their magical carriage, to bless them on their way to their happily ever after... Don't you wish that there was some fairy dust on your wedding day? Yeah, my fairy godmother had a cold that day...
I really liked this fairytale kind of manicure, and I hope you will like it too.
Thank you for stopping by.
Cheers.
