I call it - out of comfort zone.
As a base, I used super pretty Femme Fatale - Violet Starling, May 2016 color of the month... it seams that I always lag behind... but that does not bother me one bit.
Violet Starling have purple jelly base with some holographic microglitters, blue shimmer and some multicolored shifty flakies. No matter which angle or light you look at it, it is always a stunner! I love this polish so much, and I am giving you a solemn promise that I will use this polish for a pretty manicures in the future.
I do many of my designs out of order, and sometimes it just happens that I have similar colored manicures few days in the row... not that I ever complain about wearing the purple.
Some parts of manicure were freehand - like a drips of slime... I used dotting tool for making of those, and Finger Paints - Iconic Orange and Winstonia - Neon Lime Yellow.
I stamped wrapped up scull from Décor Uhnas DU15 plate, and then I remembered that I have some Halloween themed stamping plates that I won last year on Instagram giveaway. I won three Halloween plates from Winstonia, and received them few weeks after the Halloween, so I never had a chance to use them. I did some double stamping of word Boo! and I also added some glowing eyes...
Images are from Spooktacular plate.
I also used Mundo de Unas - White for stamping.
First two photos are with glossy top coat, but after few photos, I decided that matte top coat is in order. Once again, I used Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat. I have to admit that I like matte version much better than glossy one. You can see those flakies quite nice with matte top coat on.
Yeah, I know that I did not fool anyone with this. I can not produce spooky manicure to save my life...
But that is just fine... Tomorrow is another day, and another chance to redeem myself.
That said, have a spectacular weekend.
Cheers!
