For today, I have one of those easy, no tool manicures, but you do know what they say about the best laid plans...
I started with painting my nails with grey color by Revlon - Essence.
I painted lines on my mat using different polishes (mustard, rose gold, white, black, beige and some pretty sparkly copper and deep brown. As I said, I used my mat to paint some colorful lines, but you can do it on your stamper, or even plastic bag. When those lines are dried, you peel them off, then with scissors, you cut up those colored lines... except that I did not wait long enough for my polishes to dry, so they would stick onto scissors and drove me to madness.
When I was happy with the sizes of cut up polish bits, I applied another coat of Essence, and with wet toothpick I placed those bits at random on still tacky polish.
All was finished with topcoat.
Now, I loved the glossy top coat, as those shimmery polishes just glowed, making it look like a polished granite.
Then I decided that I want to see it matte, and you can see it on the second photo.
It still looked pretty, but once again; I love the richness of the colors when topped with glossy top coat.
This would be much easier if I had the patience to wait for the polish strips to completely dry out: Patience is virtue - maybe not my virtue, but virtue, nevertheless.
I wish you all an amazing day.
Cheers!
