That is the reason that I always feel at home when I see the fields of gold... They always seem to stretch forever, under the cloudless blue sky. Here and there, there would be a random poppy in the fields, that would break the gold reign of the ripe grains, like a precious rubies in the chest full of gold. I am pretty sure farmers did not care much about them , but they would look so pretty swaying in the soft breeze.
This little intro totally explains my color scheme here.
I started with another Polish Pickup exclusive by Painted Polish by Lexi - Ice & Fire.
Images I used are another Polish Pickup find stamping plate by Esmaltes da Kelly, part of the June PPU with cocktails and mocktails theme. This plate came to me bent, but I did straighten it up, and it does stamp wonderfully.
Used black, gold and yellow stamping polishes.
I added matte top coat here, and love how those flakies look when matted.
I hope you have a restful weekend, and that your inner batteries are being recharged by doing something you do like and enjoy.
Cheers!
