Yikes! I actually enjoying every quiet second of this holiday. Relaxed and at home, I must be some kind of hermit. Right? But there is no law against being happy where you are, where you are comfortable and relaxed. Home is place like that for me.
Something easy today, that resemble the outdoors last few days.
Only difference is that instead of snowstorm, I have a pretty glittery storm!
For extremely long time, I am just trying to get through my untried polishes. This seems like an never ending story, as I never really stopped buying. I am steering clear from Polish Pickup this month in hope that my no-buy lasts for at least a month or two... let's see how long that will last...
With constant flow of new polishes, I truly never have the chance to wear polishes I already own.
In a nutshell, this was a treat from me - to myself - permission to enjoy polishes and colors I love.
Gorgeous base is Picture Polish - Bonkers. I was daydreaming, so no swatch photos.
I love Picture Polish cremes. They are so smooth and easy to apply with fantastic self leveling, and on the top of that, they are all fully opaque in one smooth coat. At least ones I own are like that. I do not have to tell yo that this color is totally me. It is one of those colors that never really go out of fashion.
I love sparkle any time of the year, but especially during the winter months. Days are short and I really love that even the low light can capture and reflect the light from my nails.
I reached for the glitter topper from Sally Hansen - Blush Over Hue. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I wore it. This is almost a rose gold glitter topper with different sizes of glitters suspended in a clear base.
Images I used are on Creative Shop 22 s stamping plate. "S" here stands for small. Images on this plate are smaller than on regular plates, and I love that now I can use most of the image, and that you can actually see what it is on it.
Stamping polish I used is by Colour Alike - Warm Sand. Couple of years ago I purchased several stamping polishes from Colour Alike, and this particular one seem to be the one I reach for the most.
In the end, I loved this very much.
Once again, I want to extend the warmest wishes to all of you with hope that this year will be kinder to all of us and that will have better finish than the one we left behind.
Cheers!
