Glitters/sequins came in 0.7g jar, and are actually 3-D. They are moulded out of thin plastic, and they have that AB glaze that makes them shift the color depending of the light.
Site recommends to encapsulate them in gel, and I may try that on some other occasion, as you can tell, there is plenty of them in that jar.
Sequins can be used for the nail art, but you can also decorate your phone or add them to jazz up an old wallet, or whatever you want it for.
I used it for the nail art - yeah, I know, I am so predictable. I did not use the gel, but the regular nail polish. I just wanted to see how hard would it be to do the placement, and what kind of configuration you can do with the triangular glitter. Honestly, I was just playing around.
You also need a tool to pick up the sequins, and I used my wax pen for that.
As you can see from the photo above, you can place those babies into different formations, and they look amazing no mater what. Did I mentioned that I am in love with the color. this one would stand out against dark or the light base.
You can tell that I did not top coated these, because idea was to pick one design, and then redo all of it. Thing was, I could not decide what I want, so I just left it. Naturally, I took quite a few photos to show off different glitter placement, and they photographed so well, I just left at it.
I can assure you that I will use this glitters again. I love the way the looked so much, I could not pass on it.
For this demonstration I did few different placement over the plain polish, but I bet this will look amazing strategically placed over the stamped design.
Color shift on these is amazing, and I was not quite able to capture it on the photos. Pretty much every side would give you different color, and I was mesmerized just looking at them. There were few shades of orange, and yellow and green, and all of them in certain light, I bet those would be really distracting. I am glad I did not took them off only to make another manicure that I would have to take off in really short time... that would break my heart.
I am now in a search for the perfect image to place those in, and seal them with the top coat. That is how I affix all of my glitters and rhinestones, and they all give me week or so to wear. Dimension thing does not scare me, I actually love some texture to my nails, especially when they are visually interesting as this one is.
Here are few photos I took indoors and outdoors wearing those super fun triangle unicorn AB color nail sequins.
