Something simple for the start of the week.
On Istagram, I've seen the style done with glitter and sheer, milky kind of gel. I wanted to recreate the look, but with regular polish. Even though this looked pretty, I thought that I failed the style...
Despite the failure in creating the look I wanted, I loved this, and wore it for few days. Must be color choice... LOL!
Milky white used here is by Essie - Tuck it in my tux. By the bottom of the nail I applied Color Club Nail Lacquer - Disco Dress, as it was color wise closest to glitter color. I wanted some coverage just in case that my glitter application fails...
Glitters were little free package that was in Clear Jelly Stamper order this Spring, that Maria and I did as one order when she was visiting me from the coast.
I have huge supply of glitters, powders and pigments that I collected during the years I am doing my nails.
I love that this glitter mix had three different sizes of glitters, so I could apply them (one at the time) wherever I wanted to prevent the uneven application. If this is done with gel or acrylics, that would not be a problem, as you can always file down all the bumps caused by glitters.
When I thought I was done, I applied Glisten & Glow - Glitter Grabber, special top coat that even out the surface of the glitter polish.
Over that I applied the glossy top coat.
This had a feel of the gel manicure, and I wish this lasted me a longer, but unfortunately many layers of polish made it easier to chip.
I definitively have to try something like this again.
Have an amazing day and even better week.
Cheers!
