I know that this is highly unseasonal manicure. I done it in February! It was in season then - LOL!
I noticed that I am stuck in the same color scheme, and I needed something to break it up. I had a choice: nude, brown, purple or green.... Yeah, that are all the colors in my folder. Yikes! I need to get on some other color train ASAP, but it seem that I always reach for the same old...
That is why I am going for the old... I better stop now - don't worry, I will not trade my day job to be on a tour as a stand up comedian any time soon.
As a base for this manicure, I used Sally Hansen - Pink Pong gel polish, and that is one of my favourite nudes in regular polish too. This Pink Pong is soak off gel, and requires gel base and top coat.
I went with super simple and elegant look. Even though I like a funky manicure from time to time, this is the look I actually love. Just looking at it, I can almost feel the deep freeze we experienced then - I have the totally different story now. It feels like we are in a depths of hell... I know, who can please us.
Even though this frosty look may not be in season on the northern hemisphere, it is a dead of the winter in a southern.
Buck image is on Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS LC -09 stamping plate, done in collaboration with many Canadians. For stamping, I used DRK Nails - Metallic Brown.
On the accent nail, I applied couple of coats of Different Dimension - Ethereal. I just have to have some sparkle in my life, even if the spark is on my nails only. Ethereal is gorgeous silver glitter bomb with some contrasting copper shimmers.
Had to have that pretty rhinestone on my pinky. Just little bit extra... you know, of sparkle.
I was totally in love with this simple manicure.
I hope that my trip down the memory lane and talk about frosted, frozen wintery world cooled you down.
Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
