I have this super pretty manicure I done in June, and I will use it today to wish a happiest birthday to my baby sister!
In many ways this reminded me of her - Bright, and pretty and positive and bubbly. As a base, I used new to me brand of nail polish sold at Sally Beauty, and it seems to be their exclusive brand. This is Bitzy - Sweetie Pie.
On above swatch, I am wearing three coats of Sweetie Pie. Luckily for me, this polish dries really fast. Application was fine, and you can achieve good glitter coverage without much manipulation. Down side is that glitters are fairly thick, and it almost seams that base somehow shrunk while drying, and you are left with all of those bumps and really annoying texture, that I applied two generous coats of top coat to smooth it out, and you can still see some of the bigger glitters sticking out. I did purchased couple more polishes of this brand, but somehow, I went against trying them right out...
I went with open floral design from Nicole Diary ND 007 stamping plate, and I stamped it with Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night, but I found the contrast to be too stark. I decided to double stamp with another color, and I went with only color that was not included in glitter mix - blue. My choice of blue was Hit the Bottle - Smurf Blood.
On my ring finger, I picked different design from QJ-L11 stamping plate, and I layered two images, first in blue, then in black stamping polish. I had to add a rhinestone in the middle - it just did not look finished without it.
Wishing you all a great day, and find the minute to stop and smell the roses, or any other flowers or anything that will make you happy. Weekend is around the corner.
Cheers!
