I have too curved of the nails to place them directly on my nails, and they would bleed under, and leave whole slew of mess... I tried applying the stencil on my stamper - with a little success, and it was the same on my mat...
Perseverance did pay off, as I eventually managed to create some decals on my mat...even though I did stretch some and ruin some more just because I had no patience in waiting for decals to dry... my bad. Whatever you see here were survivors. Patience is virtue, but maybe not mine virtue.
Anyhow, the most success was with What's Up Nails - X-pattern stencils. If you do not look too close, those ended up pretty decent.
How did I manage this one?
First I used A England - Natasha's Dance War & Peace which I applied over the stencil that I stuck on My Bliss Kiss - Simply Neat Miracle Mat. I removed stencil right away, and let the polish dry.
When it was dry, I started applying random color dots over the stenciled lines, let those to dry, then I applied white polish over the color dots to make sure that my bright colors pop.
After this dried, I applied them on my nails. Phew! That was lots of waiting for polish to dry!
My ring finger got only the white base, over which I stamped words 'Girl Boss' - I found that image on Uber Chic - 15-01 stamping plate.
Lines are done using striping tape... and ones on the bottom are done freehand...
See, I used so many different techniques, and I was pretty happy with the result.
Bright manicure to brighten the Friday and ease us into the weekend. Yay!
I hope you will have fantastic day.
Cheers!
