I started with pretty muted turquoise creme by Essie - Where's My Chauffeur? This is one of the colors that you can wear all year long, but I love it in the Autumn.
Thing is, I have a mini plate by Uber Chic - Basic Shapes 02 for a while, and I wanted to use it.
First I stamped negative space shapes using Maniology - Turmeric Sun. Then, using a dotting tool and Revlon - Hot for Chocolate I painted in giraffe print.
Then I added outline - could not quite decide on the color for the outline, but in the end Hit the Bottle - Magna Opus took the prize.
I wish I stopped there. With the shapes only, this looked like some kind of funky gem stone collection. It was so cute... then I decided to add more...
Used images on SG-13 stamping plate I also have forever, and tiny images of leaves were perfect for this.
I actually started freehand, but stopped, and blissfully found the stamp that actually fit perfectly over my mess. Some days you got to take those small victories. This was not bad in the end, and I kind of stopped while I was still ahead, but it is totally different of the simple geometric manicure I started with.
I hope you will have an amazing day.
Cheers!
