It also helps that I love jewelry and the gems of any kind, and enjoying wearing them when ever I can. That said, I am wearing my beautiful rings next to never these days. When COVID started, We wore the gloves all the day, and then using tons of sanitizers and constantly sanitizing the work and waiting room area was not really best for your gemstones. Most will dry out which can cause chipping and breaking, and chipped skin was plenty for me.
Most of my rings (except solid silver ones) are on extended break...
Wearing gems on my nails seemed like much better idea.
On all nails but my ring finger sports Black Dahlia Lacquer - Red Dahlia, that in many ways remind me of garnet. I wore this manicure to work, and I actually pulled out different garnet ring that was perfect match in color with this polish. I got this beauty as a part of my Black Friday order from NailStuff.ca, and I am so glad I picked it up.
On my ring finger, I am wearing China Glaze - Snow Way.
Image I used is actually layered image on Kads Fashion 036. I have this plate for a while now, and you are more than welcome to my discount code KADSRkJBFQ3D3D at kadsnailart.com. Easiest way to use this is to copy and paste, as it is really long code.
I had so much fun figuring out the color scheme and the order in which I was to stamp 6 layers of color into this gem stone. I used many different brands and different stamping polishes, so I did not want to write the all up.
Because I picked triangular shape of the stamped gem, I found in the sea of the rhinestones I have some red triangular that are the perfect match to stamped one. I also added few silver caviar beads for the good measure, to make it look like a piece of the jewelry.
All was topped with the glossy top coat.
We had more snow yesterday, and it seems like one snowy day is blending with other one. On the bright side, it did warmed considerably, even though we are still below 0*C.
If you can enjoy day in the snow, make sure you do - Life is too short for postponing the things that makes are happy.
Cheers!
