This is one of those manicures that I just loved wearing, and was sorry to see it go.
You know that my garden did not do very well this year, so I have more than usual share of floral manicures. I have to see flowers somewhere!
Base for this manicure is Different Dimension - Getting my Shift together, super soft silver (when warm) to frosty blue (when cold) thermal polish that was Limited Edition.
Getting My Shift together is so pretty in person, I knew I have to do something super pretty with it.
Images on Creative Shop 22 stamping plate are so pretty, no matter which one I choose, I just could not go wrong with.
As a stamping polish I used Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night. Image of the fuchsia flower I made into a decal which I filled in with LaFemme stamping polishes. I usually fill in the decals with stamping polishes - they dry fast, and chances are, they are super opaque, which will make your decal really nice.
I have seen many methods of decal making, and I did try most of them, but my preferred type is just coloring the decal on the stamper head, then stamping it directly to the nail. I told you many times how my nails are super curved, and I could never get rid of wrinkles, so I am skipping application of the top coat. that also makes clean up easier.
I hope that this memory of flowers will make you feel good inside. We had a first big frost yesterday, and that frost was really rough to most of my garden. Some of the brave ones are still hanging on, and I hope to see the rare blooms for a little bit longer.
Thank you for stopping by. Stay safe, and be safe.
Cheers!
