I am writing this in super heavy heat, and if I do not make sense from time to time, it is because of it. I still have some of the PR from Madam Glam left over to show you, and they were all done before I decided to shorten my nails... I actually don't mind the mix of the long and short, and my nails grow so fast, they will be again as long and strong as always.
I am actually grateful for the backlog, as it is really hard to do anything in this heat. I truly hope that weather will ease off and that we will have "normal" summer afterwards.
Today, I am showing you a color from Viva el Glam collection, collection that was inspired by great Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.
Color I am wearing here is named after the painter - Frida.
This soak off gel polish was super pigmented, and was fully opaque in one coat, even though on the swatch above I am wearing 2 color coats over soak off Gel Base Coat, and was topped with soak off Gel Top Coat.
My discount code SANJA30 will save you 30% on all fully priced items in the store.
There is nothing like starting the week with something bright and upbeat, no matter how worn down we may or may not feel.
I wanted to do something that would reflect Frida's heritage, so I went with the image that reminded me of Mexican outfits, something that even great Frida could of wear in her time.
Image I used was on Z-Joy - plus 008 stamping plate, stamped with white stamping polish. I really loved the simplicity of the white over this intense color.
I guess it was my off day for stamping, and I did not even noticed that my stamping left lots to be desired. It appears that I did not scrape it enough, so my images are not as crisp as I would like it.
I guess I will have to go and practice more. LOL!
If you are in the areas with this unbearable heat, please take care, stay cool, preferably indoors, drink lots of fluids and maybe even some soup to replace some of the electrolytes lost with sweating...
Cheers!
