This polish is waiting for a very long time to be tried on. It was part of The Holo Hook Up, and it came in the time when I tried everything to cheer me up, but somehow there was no color in my world...
This is Cupcake Polish - Hakuna Moscato.
As you can tell from my 'swatch', I was going for the negative space manicure, and to achieve those perfect half moons, I used What's Up Nails - Circle tape. Once again, vinyls are not my strong suit, but that does not stop me from purchasing whole bunch of them. I was still high on my success from the beginning of the month, so I just flew with that.
All the rest was done with the brush I received from Born Pretty Store months ago for review, item #42603-4 and some white acrylic paint. My freehand is far from perfect, but it is really empowering to do things out of your comfort zone, even they do not turn out perfect. Practice makes perfect, and my brushstrokes may become more fluent.
I had this idea of the vines and negative space, and I had every intention to do those vines in a green, but I loved the white over this platinum base so much, I decided to leave it.
This would be really nice bridal design, or even something for upcoming holiday season. I had couple of people stop and check as they seen snowflakes... as if!
Well, we survived one more week, and for some reason this one was long and very tiering... It must be a change of season or something...
Wishing you the wonderful day, and do something just for yourself at the end of the day, to kick the weekend head on.
Cheers!
