I was again into my nail art brushes, and here is a cute spring pattern.
As a base, I used Sally Hansen - White On. That is my current white on the polish desk, and I use it until is done. This bottle is more than half way down, good thing I have bottle or two as a back up! LOL!
Thing is when you find white or black that you like, you buy a back up. I do have several in my drawer, from different brands. Because I go through lots of them, I do not really care that this is inexpensive polish.
I used my mermaid tail nail art brushes and using different polishes, I painted the leaves and really simplified tulips.
All was finished with matte top coat.
What I like here the most is the color scheme, even though I regret not using a brighter orange, to go better with rest of the bright colors used.
I also like child like quality of the design, which made me smile, and that is all that you need on cloudy day, or any day for that matter. I also enjoyed painting this, and that is also what makes this manicure even nicer for me.
We have so much stress around us on the daily basis, that doing anything that can de-stress you is a good thing. Do more of what makes you happy, and you will notice bounce in your step.
I thing that this was what drawn me towards the nail art - Expressing myself and exposing all of you to my creative outcomes, but also it is a way for me to relax, get all the negative out of my head, and also to contemplate about different things that are happening at any given time in our lives. It is like a meditation, but with nail polish for me.
This is not my only way of relaxing and having a "me" time - there is also painting, knitting, gardening, reading, and when everything else fails there is always a Netflix.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Cheers!
