She loves nail art, but she also loves book too, which makes us similar in so many ways.
Inspiration was running low when I did those, but it made me happy that I could finally use the plate I purchased long ago just for this particular image. Image I used is on the MoYou London - Geek Collection -07 plate.
Polish wise, on ring an pinky, I used Sinful Colors - Black on Black, while rest of the nails sports Different Dimension - Mystery Prototype 35. Love this deep, antique gold holographic polish - color is pretty different of any I have, almost a honey in color.
It has amazing coverage - it was fully opaque in one smooth coat, and naturally, I had to try it for stamping. No need to look further than my ring finger and pinky. As you can see, it stamp like a champ.
As you will see below, my both hands matched - Simple manicures are the best for the work, not that I am shy when it comes to workplace manicures. I am so blessed that my bosses are so open minded and supportive of my little hobby.
Super simple manicure, but booklover message is clear. I red Tolkien in Croatian, then I read it in English years later. . Loved it both times maybe even little bit more in original. There is something in the way Tolkien will draw you in into his magical world that makes you want to stay there just a little bit longer, explore little bit deeper.
Usually I do not like movies made after the book, but Lord Of The Rings movies filled all the tiny gaps my imagination left blank, so this was a double pleasure.
I tried to be creative with the photos, including the rings, and I had to improvise... my actual LOTR ring arrived in mail on Friday - too little too late...
Do you know what that means? There will be the LOTR version 2.0 in some future! LOL!
Wishing you all a wonderful day, and special birthday wishes to Iva.
Cheers!
