That took me back in time when I had baby boys of my own.
What to tell you - boys are so much fun. They will take you on adventure, and not all of them would be most pleasant for the mom... Love for the all creatures, even the spiders (my oldest was 'rescue' them from the school yard, and was hiding them in his closet!), muddy foot and handprints, toy cars like a booby-traps all over the house, with some strategically placed Lego's for the good measure... and some more is what life with house full of boys was for me. Boys are always on the go, and with caution thrown in the wind... my poor heart stopped few times with my active bunch.
I learned lots about the sharks, and cars and airplanes, and mostly about dinosaurs.
And all that said, I would not change it for the world.
There is something about the boys and dinosaurs... so I made this manicure dinosaur themed.
I started with super pretty Revlon - Dreamer - blue with the hint of grey, very unusual shade, over which I stamped dinosaur footprints using A England - Spirit of the Moors.
All images are on Clear Jelly Stamper CjSLC-35 done in collaboration with Beautometry, and was part of the May 2018 My Mani Box, I purchased myself. I could not pass on dinosaur themed box.
This fist stage of the manicure would make wonderful wallpaper or the bedding for the boy's room.
Naturally, I could not stop there. In for the penny, in for the pound- and next thing you know, I am totally in Jurassic theme.
Other stamping polishes used are: Esmaltes da Kelly - Kaa + Dolly, Moyra - SP.15, Hit the Bottle - I wish I was Mermaid + As Black as Night, and DRK Nails - Metallic Brown.
All was topped with Matte top coat. At the moment, I am using Wet 'n' Wild - Matte top coat. If you 'float' this top coat over the stamping, I noticed that my stamping doesn't get smeared. That is my friends, a really good thing.
With the cute manicures like this, I could start liking my short nails. LOL!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Cheers!
