This is hobby that begins to be much more. It is my way to relax and express myself in a ways I did not thought possible. It given me courage to try new and exciting things, and to grow. Yes, as everyone else, I do have a days when I want to call a quits, days when things do not work my way, or any way, but I try to learn from it all. Thank you all for being with me on this voyage to self-discovery.
Many times I told you that I love dragonflies. I love watching them, and I think of them as a messengers from fairy world.
For the base of this manicure, I used Finger Paints - Pop art purple.
This is such a pretty color, I wanted a pretty images on it. I used Kelly Negri KN11 stamping plate.
This plate arrived with my order of Moyra Foil polish for stamping FP.01 - Black, and those were first images I foil stamped. I wanted to do leafy image with the foil too, but I hated how it looked, and I double stamped over it with Esmaltes da Kelly - Bruce. I think this is my brightest green stamping polish.
I purchased whole bunch of foils off of the Born Pretty Store while ago, and finally started using it.
To preserve foil shiny surface, I used Piggy Paint - Water based top coat. I usually apply two coats, and my foil lasts me for a few days - until I change it.
You can use a regular top coat, but your foil may 'wrinkle up' in the best case, or will get all dulled up in the worse. I seen some artists using a UNT sticky base coat in between foil and top coat, but my is somewhere on the way, and I will have to try it first, before I pass the judgement. Another good way to preserve foil shiny surface it to use a gel top coat.
I hope you will have an amazing day, and thank you for stopping by.
Cheers!
