Technique asked for was foil nail art, and I went with foil stamping.
My gorgeous purple base I totally forgot I have is by Femme Fatale - Spider-Sense.
I wanted a decadent look, so I paired the royal purple with gold foil - this color combo always does it for me.
On thumb, mid plus ring finger I stamped paisley swirls image I submitted for Create your own plate contest couple of years back - CYO + Maniology - M091 stamping plate. I am yet to learn that more solid images are best for the foil stamping, such is the image on my index finger. It is also from CYO + Maniology - M090, which contains my images, but I used this half ikat image submitted by someone else.
To transfer the foil, I used Moyra - FP.01, black foil stamping polish.
To preserve pretty foil finish, I first applied Maniology - Smudge Free Top Coat, then I applied top coat of the choice. This Smudge Free Top Coat is proving to be a good investment, as I used it over the chrome powder, which was not dulled by it, actually quite contrary. As long as you leave it to dry completely, you will have a hard time with smudging your stamping no matter which top coat you use. I am pairing it with my older stash, as they are pretty smudgy, so this is lately saving me from myself...
This combo made this foil shiny even after couple of days of wear, which did not happen to me on my previous tries.
I loved this sparkly manicure, and I hope you will too.
Just like that, we are at the middle of the week, hope you are having a good one.
Cheers!
