I love the look of vintage cars, and would really like one on my driveway. I also like the look of antique plains - they have degree of charm to them, even though I would not care to fly one - I am creature of comfort, after all. I just like that look of times gone by, times that I did not live thorough, and because of that, they carry certain romantic feeling...
For this manicure I first applied Essence - Wild white ways, then I did random brush strokes with Sally Hansen - Dabbler and white polish on my stamper, then transferred it to my nail. This is modification of the smush technique that my friend Mary IG@dreamymm developed, and I needed to try. Colors are not as smooshed like in original, giving it bolder look. I wanted dramatic background, but to my OCD, this was too dramatic, so I softened it by applying layer of Sally Hansen - Blizzard blue - shimmery light blue polish I found too sheer to use otherwise.
Star of this manicure is Messy Mansion and their MM-35 stamping plate. I have it for a while now, and I was waiting for opportunity to use it. This biplane was on my to do list what it feels like forever.
First, I stamped sections of the image using Mundo de unas (MDU) - Copper, then I double stamped it with MDU - Black. My clear jelly stamper was real help in aligning this image both times.
Finished manicure was topped with Revlon - Matte top coat.
