Did anyone had a chance to see the total eclipse yesterday? I live on the West coast, and we were not on direct path, but I would be happy even with the partial like we had few years back... It was overcast here, and gray kind of the day, I wish it was raining.
I have another freehand look for you for today.
I started with pretty, clay colored creme by B Kind - Atwater. I collected quite a few polishes from this Canadian brand in very short time, and I found this pretty polish and few other siblings while wondering through the Winners. I love to score great product, and it was at the fraction of the price I paid on line, and no shipping or waiting for it to arrive. Best of the all worlds!
I paired this creme with shimmery polish by Pahlish Polish - Cornish Cream Tea that I received on Thursday. Once again I purchased collection sight unseen, but no regrets. Honestly, the polish I liked the least from the collection I used the first. How weird is that! I just love that pink to gold color shift, especially as it was showing lots of pink here. I guess you can use it as a topper as I did here, I just need to try it on its own. I painted thumb and pinky, and added some brush strokes on rest of the nails to tie the design out.
I proceeded with painting pink flowers , leaves and branches, and little white flowers just finished and brightened up the whole look. I had to franken some of the shades to achieve the colors I wanted, and was so happy with the results here. There is softness but also the contrast.
I really love feminine, soft pink paired with the masculine greens.
All was topped with glossy top coat, because I love glossy manicures the best.
I hope you will all have a great day, and that you will have little bit of the time to enjoy the beautiful Spring time.
Cheers!
