I started with stunning polish by Cadillacquer - Purple Lights, and have to admit I am totally smitten by this polish. This was Polish Pickup exclusive in December/21, and somehow it waited forever to be finally worn. I am in love with purple and red combo, with the touch of gold, and that was basically the color choice for stamping too. You don't mess with the good thing.
Images are on Lina - Feeling Shapely! 10 stamping plate, that needed to be used again.
For stamping, I used Kaleidoscope - Fragrant Mimosa (gold) and Colour Alike - Cherry Tomato. My red is bit brighter than the red flakes in the polish, but I was afraid that anything darker, or deeper would be lost.
I truly enjoyed wearing this set, and combination of images and colors also reminded me of the flames. That is why I thought this would work for Valentine's - flames of love! That was also the inspiration for the title.
My weekend went way too soon. I did some shopping - some I needed to do, and some that I did because I could, and also because I could not pass on the good deal... Did not regret one penny spent, and love that I was able to snag some really good deals.
I also spent time organizing my stamping plates. I like them sorted out by brands, as I find it easier to find what I need that way. At one point, I run out of the room in my plate holders, and it just snowballed from there... Once mixed, I had no drive to try to relocate them.
I felt inclined to do it this weekend, and this time I did not wait for the urge to pass. It took me less time than I thought I need, and results are so satisfying.
I will not mention the mess of few hundreds of stamping plates around me, but once I started, I could not stop. Now I need the same energy to apply to the rest of the things around house that wait for me to get into the mood to finish them... Yikes!
I hope your day and week will go really well.
Cheers!
