For me this whole week between Christmas and New Year is so festive, there is plenty of good food, and usually many good friends around.
So for the festive week, I have a festive plaid design. I actually have couple prepared, so be ready for the on slat. LOL!
As a base here, I used Anchor and Heart Lacquer - Fraser's Ridge, inspired by Outlander. Have to admit it was in my untried pile for almost 2 years... and once again, I have no explanation why. It is absolutely stunning. Deep pine green holographic polish with color shifting flakes is real feast for the eyes. coverage is amazing too, and it was almost fully opaque in one coat.
Layering plaid image is on Uber Chic - Pretty in Plaid 3 stamping plate, one of the rare Black Friday purchases that actually arrived. I am so afraid in which state I will find all of those polishes that are trapped in the mail who knows where...
I love Uber Chic plates, and this one is not exception. This is actually 2 layer plate, but thankfully to my shorter nails, I managed to use one of the layers twice, by shifting it little bit to create new layer. I also managed to move the design around so each nail would be little bit different.
For the stamping I used Hit the Bottle - Drop Red Gorgeous; Lina - Stop Lion To Me and Winstonia - Metallic Green Quartz.
I actually liked the look of this very much. I am not sure if the colors I picked are responsible for that, or just the fact that I stopped before I managed to ruin it by adding more layers.
Have a wonderful day, keep safe and stay warm.
Cheers!
