Difference today is that I did not use the black undies, so look is softer than one yesterday.
Magnet came on the Magic Wand, which has magnet on one side, and flat clean up brush on other. Handle is filled with clear rhinestones, so it is pretty to look at, and extremely useful.
Thank you Beautometry for including this useful tool, as you can never have too many clean up brushes.
Loved this tool very much, but I couldn't find it on the website, otherwise I would provide you with the link. Just a reminder that my links are always different color, and just by clicking on the link will take you straight to the page/product.
As for magnet, I found that one generous coat of polish and applying the magnet for 5-10 seconds would give you the best results. Thicker coat will dry slower than thin one, which will allow magnetic particles in the polish to react and travel towards the magnet before the polish dries and stop that travels.
For this manicure, I actually did not really care if magnetic effect is not so strong, as I actually wanted to use this base as a multichrome polish, just a different approach to this polish all together.
I also decided to do something more seasonal, and I did combination of stamping and freehand.
I stamped lace image from the MoYou London - Lace Collection - 05 which was the part of April My Many Box. When it came to stamping, I first stamped with Hit the Bottle - Hello Buttercup, but that just got lost over the rich base. Double stamped with Esmaltes da Kelly - Dolly, but did not like it very much, then I added a third layer of As Black As Night... and I left it at it.
Flowers are done freehand (like you couldn't guess that on your own), and they supposed to be poinsettias... very abstract poinsettias. Aren't you glad I told you what I was going for, LOL!
In all of this, I was again playing with the glitter, so I added a few gold glitters for more festive look. Just don't ask me what is relation of lace and poinsettia...
And... I added a matte top coat, so you can see this polish matte. I think that is it.
